Description

An introductory Microbiology course emphasizing the medical applications of microbiology. The subject matter will include microscopic techniques, prokaryotic and eukaryotic structure, control of growth, diversity of microbial life, epidemiology, the immune system, and common microbial diseases. Prerequisite: CHEM 102 and CHEM 104 and at least one semester of college level Biology
