This course focuses on the curriculum development process, including the role of teachers and the importance of play in early childhood learning and development. Students will develop appropriate preschool activity plans to promote physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development, emphasizing Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM). This course requires a 60-hour practicum in an approved EC setting with appropriate clearances or enrollment in MiRegistry.Pre-requisite: CHLD 103, Co-requisite: CHLD 238
