Description

Field Course II is a co-requisite course, taken with Curriculum Development II: STEM Explorations.

Field skills and competencies in an early childhood care/education setting will be observed, monitored, and assessed, including child screening and assessment, and activity implementation across the following areas: Science, technology, engineering, math, and STEM-based arts. Special emphasis will be placed on developmentally appropriate teaching practices, supportive relationships and interactions, and professionalism in the field.
