Description

Students who have completed CJUS-112 Introduction to Criminal Justice and one additional criminal justice course with at least a 2.3 grade point average (GPA) may apply to take the internship and earn credit hours by working in an approved agency within the student’s discipline of interest. Placement of the student is contingent upon approval of the target agency, and the student’s advisor. Evaluation of the student’s performance will be carried out by the student’s supervisors in the participating agency in conjunction with the coordinator of the program. Prerequisite: Student must be a sophomore in good standing with a GPA of 2.0 or greater.
