Description
This course provides the EMT student with practical knowledge and experience to safely operate an ambulance. Course topics include safety strategies, operational laws, defensive driving techniques, and specialized driving maneuvers. Prerequisites: Acceptance into the EMT-Basic Certificate Program; EMT-110 (with a "C" or better grade); EMT-120 (with a "C" or better grade); BIOL-104 (may be taken concurrently); ENGL-101 (may be taken concurrently). Co-requisite: EMT-140.
