Description

This is a lab course which is designed to assist graduates in successful completion of the program and to prepare them for passage of the NCLEX PN. Students will reflect on prior learning achievements, revisit test taking strategies and content specific to the NCLEX PN, complete a self-evaluation based off of performance of the HESI PN Exit V1 exam, develop a plan to address identified learning needs, and evaluate that plan after completion of comprehensive, targeted remediation and then completing the HESI V2. Students will also participate in summative evaluation activities in the lab and simulation environments to ensure achievement of end of program outcomes prior to graduation. Additionally, students will be required to participate in a comprehensive NCLEX PN Review seminar activity as a requirement of successful completion of this course. Concurrent: To progress in the program, the student must maintain a grade of C or better in Practical Nursing program courses. Prerequisi
