Description
Teams rely on both individual and group talent. The individual members need to know how to let their strenghs shine, while the group needs to know how to work as a unit. This class is designed to advance both of these goals. We will explore teh preferred style of each participant and discover the strengths that they naturally bring to the team. We will review the team development process, learning that to improve team effectiveness there are specific steps that can and should be taken. Lastly we will learn successful communication techniques that promote teamwork and effective interaction.
What are the objectives: After comleting this workshop, participants will be able to:
Increase their understanding of and appreciation for co-worker styles and strengths
Understand how their unique strenths support and challenge the team
Understand how teams develop and know what stage of development their team is in
Take action to improve their team's effectiveness
