Continued Eligibility Appeal
The Futures for Frontliners and Michigan Reconnect programs require that students attend at least two semesters every 12 months at a half time status (6 or more credits that apply toward your major). For students who do not meet this qualification, eligibility for these programs is removed.
We know that life and program availability can often times get in the way as you are attending college. Due to this, there is an option to appeal this requirement and be allowed to continue as a Futures for Frontliners or Michigan Reconnect recipient.
To compete your appeal, you must do the following:
- Mark the Reason for your appeal
- Briefly explain why you were not able to meet the requirement to attend at least two semesters every 12 months at a half time status.
- Upload your supporting documentation via email to financialaid@baycollege.edu.
- Examples: accident reports, a copy of a death certificate, medical reports
