Description
This theoretical course continues to build upon content from NURS-120 and expands the student?s knowledge base in utilizing the nursing process and health patterning practice skills to provide holistic, comprehensive care to adult clients in the following areas: body defenses (integumentary system, immune system, HIV/AIDS); control, mobility, coordination and regulation (musculoskeletal system, neurological system, sensory system, endocrine system, gastrointestinal and urinary systems, male & female reproductive systems, sexually transmitted diseases); and mental integrity (mental illness). Prerequisites: BIOL-214, NURS-107, NURS-117, NURS-120. Co-requisite: NURS-123.
