Description

This course is designed for the Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.) transitioning into the A.D.N. Completion Program. Emphasis is placed on the concepts of professional nursing practice and patient profile related to the identification of basic human needs, the nursing process, nursing skills, and other concepts relevant to patient-centered nursing care across the lifespan. This course includes a laboratory course. Prerequisites: Officially accepted into the A.D.N. program and following the required sequence of courses; Unrestricted licensure as an L.P.N.
