Description
This course continues and summarizes the study of the principles of radiation protection included in previous program courses. The practical applications of radiation protection in the clinical setting are discussed. Minimizing patient exposure while maintaining image quality is emphasized, as is radiation safety for medical imaging and other medical professionals. Prerequiste: RAD 100, RAD 110, and RAD 113. Concurrent: RAD 115 and RAD 130
