Bay College has achieved the initial program approval by the Michigan Board of Nursing MBON to start a Practical Nurse Certificate at the Escanaba Campus, for Summer of 2026.
Students are required to complete the following four classes in order to be ranked for a seat.
BIOL 104
MATH 107 or may look at MATH 105
ENGL 101
PSYC 201
Students files will be reviewed in March, for a May 18th start. Students will be awarded a seat through an electronic process. Students shall see award letters no later than the 1st week of April. Students will have to accept their seats and start working on Background Check, Drug Testing, and immunization paperwork. Students who accept will be required to attend a two day Mandatory Orientation on May 13th and 14th. And classes start May 18th. The program will be three semesters. There are 24 seats available.
